Thank You So Much For Writing, Kevin

Hello, Dear Silke,Regarding your particular enthusiasm for the 1940s era, I also have another Yahoo Group on-line entitled: WorldWar2Weekend_JeffersonBarracks_StLouisMo
I wasn't so sure if I should have mentioned it or not, because this MySLART Group is mainly for Artists, but I'LL make this brief anyway. I'm also a descendant of a World War 2 Veteran that fought in the Battle of the Bulge in Ardennes, Belgium and Luxembourg in 1944-'45. Through him in 2003 I was accepted as an Associate Lifetime Member in the Gateway Missouri Chapter VBOB, Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge. So, I am an active member in this usually attending World War 2 Weekend towards the end of every April 24th, 25th, and 26th, which is a free yearly event. We have World War 2 Reenactors from all over, and many vendors tents, and like You, I am very interested in this era as well. I am also a free lance photographer in photographing all of the World War 2 Weekends at Jefferson Barracks in St.Louis, Missouri and have been taking photos there since 2004. My Yahoo Group on this has alot of photos to look at, and hope You would like to apply to join my group and for others who may be interested. For further info on our Gateway Missouri Chapter VBOB, Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge, the website is at: www.gatewayvbob.org Also, even though I was never a Veteran, I was honored by the World War 2 Veterans from England in being a Historian and a Military Aviation Researcher and Public Speaker on World War 1, Between the 2 World Wars, and on World War 2 Airplanes for over 20 years in 1994. You sound like a very interesting person, glad to meet your acquantance! Sincerely Yours, Kevin Skypainter
