About Me:
I am the Studio Manager at the Fabulous Photography Studio in Maplewood, MO: Studio Altius.

Studio Altius is a full-service professional photography studio, rental space, & art gallery. We have recently moved from our familiar location on the corner of Greenwood and Sutton into a space three times the size on Big Bend Blvd in Maplewood.

Studio Altius has so many options for professional and amateur photography and video with 3000 sq ft of space that can be configured in a variety of ways. This new location is one of the most capable studios in the area for portrait and commercial photography. Amenities include two studio spaces, a beautiful lobby & meeting area, restroom, separate dressing room with shower & makeup station, full kitchen, and plenty of storage space, & WIFI internet access. The studio has a loading dock and access for vehicles and machinery to accommodate big commercial projects.

While maintaining our existing rental services of hourly, half-day and full-day rentals ($45/hr for the 50’ x 20’ studio; $30/hr for the 40’ x 10’ studio; $60/hr for both studios), we are adding a fantastic new service for a limited group of photographers called the UNLIMITED RENTAL PROGRAM. We are accepting ten photographers into this program which includes unlimited studio rental on a six-month agreement for only $200 per month! You can book studio time as much as you like! Spots in this program are currently filling up. Anyone who is interested but does not sign up for the first ten openings will be put on a waiting list. This group will receive first opportunity to enter the program if any of the original ten do not renew their contract at 6 months. For more information on this program, give us a call at 314-769-9769. We can arrange a tour of the new space and discuss any questions about the program

Studio rental includes the physical space and props. Use of paper backdrops or specialty drops, lighting equipment, camera equipment, models, or photography assistance are available for an additional charge. We offer digital photography equipment and studio equipment for rental either here in our studio or at a day rate for shooting off-site. Please refer to the studio rate sheet for available equipment and rental prices. We are frequently adding new equipment to be used for rentals, so not all equipment may be listed. Feel free to ask about availability or to suggest specific items to be added to rental equipment. Rental time includes a set-up period of 30 minutes prior to start time for equipment set-up. We also offer a student discount and other promotions to full-time students. (http://www.studioaltius.com/prophoto/rates.html)

While the studio is a flexible space designed with photographers in mind, it can also accommodate small video productions, art exhibitions, casting and auditions, classes, presentations, cocktail parties, small events & receptions, and the like! We would love to hear what creative way you would like to use the studio!

Please feel free to give us a call to set up a time to come in for a tour of the new space!

Welcome to the "Artistic Photographers" group. Yesterday I invited the group to the Gateway Gallery reception this Friday night, so I'll extend the invitation to you. In addition to my regular exhibit I have an additional one in the guest artist room. Come on over to Clayton and see my photography. Both events are listed on this site - "Sleep With an Original" and "Life on the Rocks". There are also links on my website which iss listed on my profile page.
