Colleen Says goodbye is in honor of my friend Colleen Marchetti who died. It has a story.
My friend Colleen died this summer. She lay very still but I sensed big things going on within her. Outside her window it was still summer. Red flowers, yellow flowers, and the trees bright green all around, she looked toward the wall. We sat so quiet while outside the hummingbirds went from flower to flower. Colleen was saying goodbye.
