About Me:
Gosh there is a lot to know about me. My road to photography is a long one. I have been doing freelance photography for about 12 years. I am about 18 months from having my PhD in Neuroscience. I decided to take photography to a new level at the end of 2011 when I was working on a large commercial job in St. Louis. That road eventually led me to where I am now; I do photography for all three major league organizations in St. Louis. During this process I decided to really focus on the beauty of St. Louis and areas around St. Louis that are very under acknowledged.

The newest project I just started this week, will be on exhibit at 33August. This project is called White Balloons. White Balloons was inspired by a very good friend of mine, along with the song White Balloons by the Sick Puppies.

White Balloons is project I designed to objectify grief through art. The white balloons in the song White Balloons describes them and strength and fear bound together. So many times in dealing with grief myself and with patients, you try to look at the feeling as on object. An object, in this series of photographs, that the person can either hold on to or let go.

I am honored to be able to share the stories these friends have allowed me to share.

Thank You
