About Me:
Like most people I first began drawing as a child, and I first decided I seriously loved art and wanted to concentrate on improving around 11 years old. I took my first formal cartooning class through a youth outreach program at a local college and started feverishly copying drawings from my favorite comic books. My artistic style is still very obviously influenced by those early roots.

As I got older I continued informally educating myself in various techniques and honing my skills with pencils and ink pens. I finally took another formal drawing course my senior year of college and I greatly enjoyed the live figure models and range of subjects. After that I began using a good deal of photo reference for my drawings and I still use both stock photos and my own photographic reference to create my drawings. My favorite subject is people, especially interesting and fanciful people, and I most often draw women.
