About Me:
I am a self taught artist. I started painting professionally in 1999. I have always had a love for the arts since I was 8 years old. I old draw everyday with my brother. I would always feel a since of peace when I was creating. As a child I drew mostly girls with huge ponytails. Don't know why I guess being in a predominantly all white school I saw long hair as a symbol of beauty. Today I still focus my art on women. But with a twist. My work is of strong women of all colors, hair or no hair. Finding myself in my work is easy to do. As I stated before loving the arts expressed in paintings, music, dance, photography, sculpture is all beauty to me.
