Urban Eats is a Social Enterprise whose purpose is to revitalize urban neighborhoods through real food, local art & community gathering spaces. We are an Enterprise Member of SEA, the Social Enterprise Alliance.

Showing art, making art, talking about art - are all important ways that we interact with others in our community and we use these experiences to bring people to this grand old neighborhood.

The Urban Arts Collective Project is a partnership among the participating artists and Urban Eats Cafe, providing both shared and dedicated free display space for local artists who are in need of a public showcase, on a quarterly rotational basis.

We are looking for artists, in all forms of media, who support our mission and will be active participants in promoting their events here.

Our format asks each artist to host one art event per month of your 3 month rotation, on a Sunday during our Brunch, from 11-2. (We can arrange other times if that absolutely won't work for you.)

You invite guests to your event, and mix and mingle. You can do live work, have your sales benefit your fave charity, make it a sale, whatever you fancy! You get to talk about your art to the audience between band sets, and we would love your suggestions for worthy beneficiaries (we donate 5% of all food & beverage sales each rotation to a city-centric non-profit.)

We assign spaces based on the size and number your pieces. There is no cost to the artist, unless something sells. In that case we take a 30% commission.

If you think you might like to participate, please e-mail:

1. 3 samples

2. the general/average size of your pieces

3. number of pieces you would be able to show
