Event Description
Pop by for free entertainment. See glassblowers play with fire, creating glass art right before your eyes. Note: For the hearing impaired, student interpreters from SLCC-FloValley sign glassblowing demos beginning at 6:30. Get hands-on with glass. Make a paperweight, tile keepsake, or beads ($20 - $30). At 7 p.m. Union Avenue Opera performers give sneak peek of Verdi’s Il Trovatore. At 8 p.m. the Michael Jonas Band strums up bluegrass, new grass, and jazz. Third Degree East Gallery shows Dreamzine Dudes by Karen Woodard and Duck! New Glass by Jessica Kopitske. Through August 18. Third Fridays are free and family-friendly. Cash bar.
