NAUGHTI GRAS 3: CALL FOR ENTRIES

The Koken Art Factory cordially invites you to submit
art for Naughti Gras 3: The St. Louis Erotic Art Show.
We’ve had two very fun and successful art shows in the
past two years and we hope this year will be no
exception. We’ve also added a second night so more
people can enjoy this “stimulating” art event! See
erotica presented in all artistic styles and media. From
the subtle to the graphic, there’s something for every
taste. Come out and experience two nights of great art
and some very fun adult entertainment. This is an 18
and over event. Bigger, Better, Naughtier...lol.

Friday, February 5, 2010. 7pm-1am
Saturday, February 6, 2010. 7pm-1am
Admission is only $5.00.

Jan. 16 - Submission deadline
Jan. 23 - Acceptance notification
Jan. 29 - Art drop-off at Koken, 4pm-8pm
Jan. 30 - Art drop-off at Koken, Noon-5pm
Feb. 5 and 6 - Art Show, 7pm-1am
Feb. 7 - Art pickup, Noon-5pm
Feb. 8 - Final art pickup, 4pm-8pm

Submission rules:
-Deadline for submissions is January 16, 2010.
-Each artist may submit up to 4 pieces.
-Submitted images must be jpegs. Send entries in one
email if possible to info@kokenartfactory.com
The files should not be bigger than 500kb.
-Files names should have the last name of the artist,
name of the piece, and size in inches, for example:
williams_dreamgirls_24x36.jpg
-Only one image will be needed for flat art. You may
send two shots of 3-D work if needed.
-Your email should also include the following info:
Your name, address, phone number, email. We also
need the number of pieces submitted, name of each
piece, media, size and price.
-There is no cost just to submit. If your work is
accepted, there will be a $20 entry fee (per artist, not
per piece). Payable in cash only at time of drop-off.
Your fee includes free admission for the “artist only”.
-All accepted art must be ready for proper display.
This means flat art should be framed with a wire
across the back. No sawtooth hangers or other forms
of hanging will be accepted...period! Stretched
canvases do not need to be framed. If your work is
three-dimensional and requires a base or pedestal,
you will need to provide this yourself.
-Any work deemed too difficult to install will not be
accepted. For example, we cannot suspend work from
the ceiling.
-All accepted work will need to be dropped off and
picked up in person on the designated dates. We
cannot accept shipped artwork.
-We do not handle art sales and will not take any
commissions. Each artist is responsible for handling
their own sales and they will keep whatever they
make. Artists will be notified if their work has SOLD
after the event.
-If your submissions are accepted into the show, you
will be notified by email no later than Jan. 23, 2010.
