Event Description

Comic art and illustrations of all media and forms will be showcased in Ka-Pow! Comic Art & Storyboarding at the Foundry Art Centre. The exhibition runs Friday, July 27 – September 7, 2012 and is open for viewing during regular FAC hours. Cartoonist, illustrator, and well-known artist Phil McAndrew juried the exhibition; McAndrew’s work has been featured in MAD Magazine, Boom! Comics, and he is currently developing a show with Cartoon Network. The opening reception for Ka-Pow! is Friday, July 27 from 6pm – 8pm; the public can enjoy free food & drink along with artful conversation and observation. The artist studios on the second level of the Foundry will also be open to the public for visiting. Admission, as always, is free. Tuesday–Sunday, 10:00 am–5:00 pm Friday, 10:00 am–9:00 pm Closed Monday Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. The Museum is open New Year's Day.

ADMISSION

Admission to the Museum is free every day. Admission to featured exhibitions is free on Friday.
